I have completed a second contract website. It is a Photography Website done for a photographer. This website includes pictures that the photographer has taken over the last year. The pictures are broken up into several catagories and more will be added as time goes on. The background on each page is done using tables and different backgrounds. It creates a very interesting effect. The photographer did not want the pictures taken from her site so I have added a script using Javascript to prevent this. This is my first contract website. It is a Cabbage Patch Kids Website that I did for a collector. This website includes pages of the Cabbage Patch dolls that the collector has in her collection by headmold number. There are pictures of the dolls in the collection on the various headmold pages and I have added a "Kid Info" button below each picture that opens up a window with the information about each doll. This was done using Javascript. There are also pages in this website about some of the personal interests of the collector. Click on the button below to view the Cabbage Patch Kids Website. One of our assignments was to create a small business website. The small business had to be a real company. The company I chose was the Anne of Green Gables Store. This website includes several pages with different information about the company as well as a Products page. Each of the products are divided into several categories. A Cookie Shopping Cart has also been added with the ability to order products on the different pages with the Shopping Cart seen on the Order Form page. There is also a Javascript script that validates the information the user enters in the form as it is being entered and again after the user clicks the Submit button. I also did a Form Validation Website. Our job was to create a Javascript script that validated each form field using the onChange event handler. As the user moves from field to field the script evaluates the information entered to determine if it is appropriate for that particular field. An alert dialog box comes up only if the information entered is not appropriate. After the user has filled out the order form and selected any items they wish to order the Submit button is clicked. There is another script that again checks the information the user has entered before the form is submitted. Click the button below to view my Form Validation website. One website that I created was a Search Engine Website. Each student in my class researched registration information on a particular search engine. The search engine that I had to find registration information on was Google. We each found answers to six registration questions. Our websites were based on the registration information that we found for each search engine. Click the button below to view my Search Engines website.
